Checks performed on the e-mail

1. Syntax Check

The validator begins with a thorough syntax check, ensuring that the email address adheres to the standard format (username@domain.com). This step catches common errors such as missing @ symbols, invalid characters, or improperly formatted domain names.

2. Domain Validity

Once the syntax is verified, the tool checks the validity of the domain. It confirms whether the domain exists and is properly registered, reducing the risk of emails sent to non-existent addresses.

3. MX Record Verification

The validator performs an MX (Mail Exchanger) record check. This step verifies that the domain has valid mail servers configured to receive emails, ensuring that your messages have a destination to reach.

4. Disposable Email Detection

To maintain the integrity of your email list, the validator checks against a comprehensive database of known disposable and temporary email domains. This feature helps prevent the collection of short-lived email addresses often used to bypass registration requirements or spam filters.

Remember to regularly validate your email lists to maintain their quality over time. Email addresses that were once valid may become inactive or change to disposable status.
