How to use enrichements to connect new data

During the process of building a model, you often encounter situations where you have multiple data sources. These data need to be combined into a single model, such as different sheets from your Google Spreadsheets. You can also link data from different sources as long as there are columns that allow the data to be matched.

When creating a model, you always select an integration where your data is stored. Let's consider the example of Google Spreadsheets. In our scenario, we have three sheets, with the main data located in the "Final" sheet. Additionally, we have supplementary information on automation in a separate sheet. Let's explore how to link this data within the model.

The new sheet you add must be mappable to the first sheet you selected.

💡
Please note: You can create a mapping only based on already added columns. So, it’s a good idea to add a primary key column first. In our case, that will be office_unique_id from “Final” sheet.

Let’s add a new sheet to our model:

For this example, let’s choose “Additional Automation”

Now, you need to select the mapping:

Important: The existing column on the right side must contain only unique values. If duplicate values are present, please contact support for assistance with aggregation.

After successfully mapping, you’ll be able to add new data from the connected sheet.
