Zendesk Support
Overview
The RevOS Zendesk Support Connector allows you to integrate your Zendesk Support account with RevOS, enabling seamless data synchronization between the platforms. The connector supports both API Token and OAuth2 authentication methods for secure access to Zendesk data.
Prerequisites
Before setting up the connector, ensure you have the following:
- A Zendesk Support account.
- Your Zendesk subdomain (e.g.,
mycompany.zendesk.com
).
- Either an API Token or OAuth2 authentication credentials.
Authentication Methods
The connector supports two types of authentication:
1. API Token Authentication
To authenticate using an API token:
- Navigate to your Zendesk account.
- Go to Admin Center > Apps and integrations > Zendesk API.
- Enable Token Access and generate an API token.
- Use your registered Zendesk email and the API token for authentication in RevOS.

2. OAuth2 Authentication
To authenticate using OAuth2:
- In RevOS, select OAuth2.0 as the authentication method.
- Click Authorize to sign in to Zendesk.
- RevOS will obtain an access token to sync data securely.

Configuration

To configure the Zendesk Support Connector:
- Enter a descriptive name for your data source.
- Specify your Zendesk subdomain (e.g.,
mycompany
formycompany.zendesk.com
).
- Choose an authentication method (API Token or OAuth2) and provide the necessary credentials.
- Set the Start Date (UTC format:
YYYY-MM-DDT00:00:00Z
) to define the earliest date for data replication.
- Define the number of concurrent workers to optimize data sync performance.
- Click Connect to finalize the setup.
Available Parameters
- Start Date – The earliest date from which data will be replicated.
- Number of Concurrent Workers – Defines the number of worker threads for data sync. The performance limit depends on your Zendesk Support plan.
Limitations
- Rate limits apply based on your Zendesk Support plan. Check Zendesk API Rate Limits for details.
