Duplicate Table

How to duplicate an existing model within the same workspace.

Overview

The new Duplicate Table feature in RevOS allows users to duplicate an existing table within the same workspace. This provides an easy way to create new tables with identical configurations without manually setting up all attributes again. This feature can also be useful if you want to do a quick experiment on the model but fear that changes could lead to the unexpected results.

The copied table retains all settings, views, and filters but does not include historical data. This ensures that the copied table starts as a fresh instance while preserving all essential elements of the original. Table copy will also copy data from the custom columns you created, however data from external systems, e.g. HubSpot, Intercom, Zendesk or any other system you integrated will not be copied / cloned.

When is it useful to Duplicate a Table?

The Duplicate Table feature is useful for:

  • Creating a new version of a table without affecting the original.
  • Experimenting with different configurations while keeping the structure intact.
  • Streamlining workflows by quickly duplicating existing tables instead of setting up new ones from scratch.
  • Easily prepare a table for export by modifying columns, creating new views, and applying filters β€” without altering the original table.

Key Characteristics of the Duplicated Table

  • The duplicated table does not include historical data. It starts as a fresh table from the moment it is created, meaning:
    • No historical changes from the original table are carried over.
    • Any previous modifications or updates to data records in the original table will not be reflected in the duplicated table.
  • The Webhook URL from the original table will be retained in the duplicated table.
  • Table settings will reset to default values, so that duplicated table will not appear in the HubSpot CRM cards, events from the table evaluation will not be pushed to HubSpot events, however newly duplicated table will be included in the Weekly Digest and will have same sync to HubSpot, as shown in the screenshot.

  • Everything else is identical to the original, including:
    • All added and hidden columns
    • All enrichments
    • All views and filters
    • The column order
    • Scores and Score Groups, including all thresholds and points assigned to each score
    • Data in external systems integrated in your RevOS table is not copied nor affected by the new copy.
    • Data on custom columns, if any, will be duplicated with the table.

Limitations

  • Historical data is not retained, meaning any trends or past records from the original table are not available in the duplicated version.
  • Integrations and data sources remain the same as the original table and cannot be modified during the duplicating process. However, once the table is created, new integrations can be added as data sources.
